About I Care Vision Center

We are a doctor-owned and operated practice specializing in eye care in West Seattle since 2008.

I Care Vision Center was established in 2008 by Dr. Yousim Chhim. The practice was recently expanded and relocated to Greenbridge. Dr. Chhim is very proud of her West Seattle roots and has been committed to helping her community with each eye exam. We provide the highest quality eye care in a compassionate and patient-centered environment. We will never rush through your exam or prescribe a treatment that does not optimize your visual health, performance or style. Our commitment to you goes far beyond the average eye exam with the goal of making your vision the best it can be.

DR. YOUSIM CHHIM

​Dr. Chhim is a West Seattle native who has lived in the area all of her life. As a result, she has developed a strong connection with her community and is committed to making it better one eye exam at a time. Dr. Chhim received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2006 from Pacific University College of Optometry. Before that, she graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors degree in the field of Zoology. She is licensed through the State of Washington and is certified by the National Board of Examiners of Optometry. Dr. Chhim is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases, prescription glasses, and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Chhim is married and has two girls named Olivia and Iris. When not at the office they keep her busy with art projects and digging up the sand at Alki Beach. Dr. Chhim is also a big "foodie" and enjoys eating her way through Seattle and discovering new and exciting restaurants.

Dr. Chhim is also fluent in Cambodian and is comfortable examining non-English speaking patients and children.

CINTYA C.

​Cintya is our office manager. She is involved in all aspects of patient care. Ranging from checking in, answering phone calls, to billing insurance. She has many years of experience and is a natural at helping patients feel comfortable. Cintya is also fluent in Spanish.

LILIAN Q.

​Lilian is our optometric technician. She is highly skilled at performing all the tests that you may need prior to seeing Dr. Chhim. Lilian is also fluent in Vietnamese.
